Get your free estimateMeet the Miami Team Behind Dryden Restoration Miami
The crew at Dryden Restoration Miami answers the phone at 3 a.m., shows up in uniform, and tells you the price before a single fan gets plugged in. Carl Brandt built this team around a simple idea: homeowners in Miami deserve restoration work done to IICRC, RIA, and IFA standards without the runaround. The people below are the ones you’ll actually see at your door in neighborhoods from Coral Gables to Kendall to Miami Lakes. They’re background-checked, trained on Dri-Eaz and Phoenix equipment, and they’re not done until the job is done right. Here’s who you’re calling.
Restoration work we handle

Our People
Miguel S., Lead Water Damage Technician
Miguel has spent eleven years pulling wet drywall out of Miami homes, and he can usually tell you where the water traveled before he’s been in the house ten minutes. His specialty is psychrometric drying, which is just the trade’s way of saying he reads the air’s relative humidity, the wall cavity moisture, and the dew point to know exactly where to place each air mover and dehumidifier. He’s certified in water damage restoration and holds a commercial drying credential through IICRC-aligned training. There’s a running joke that Miguel can smell a Category 3 loss from the driveway. He grew up in Hialeah and has been known to stop at a ventanita for cafecito before a long night on a flood job.
Denise R., Senior Mold Remediation Technician
Denise handles mold jobs with the kind of containment discipline you’d expect from a hospital infection-control team, because when you’re cutting into a moldy ceiling in a Little Havana bungalow, you don’t let spores drift into the kid’s bedroom next door. She’s been with Dryden for eight years and leads our mold remediation work across South Florida, including jobs in Homestead and Pinecrest where high humidity turns small leaks into big problems fast. Denise is trained in mold remediation to IICRC standards and handles the engineering controls: negative air pressure, HEPA air scrubbers, proper PPE, and the pass/fail clearance testing conversation. On weekends she refinishes old furniture and has opinions about the right way to strip varnish. Nobody questions her on it.
Alan T., Fire Damage and Rebuild Coordinator
Alan walks fire-damaged homes with insurance adjusters and translates what he sees into a scope that everyone can read. His background is in residential construction, and that’s the difference on fire jobs: knowing which framing boards can be sanded and sealed versus which ones need to come out entirely. He’s been in restoration in Florida for over a decade and coordinates everything from smoke odor removal in Little Haiti rental units to full kitchen rebuilds in Key Biscayne condos. Alan writes much of the documentation that goes to your insurance company, including the photo logs and moisture readings that make a claim go smoother. He’s originally from Chicago and still talks about snow in a way that suggests he’d rather not see it again.
Jordan C., Service Coordinator
Jordan is the first voice you’ll hear when you call Dryden Restoration Miami, which means he’s the one making sure someone shows up within the arrival window we gave you. He’s been dispatching restoration crews for six years and has a mental map of Miami traffic that borders on obsessive: when to take the 836, when to ride surface streets, when even the Palmetto is a lost cause. Jordan coordinates the written estimate, schedules the walkthrough, and keeps a job file from the moment you call to the moment we hand you a written guarantee. He’s the kind of coordinator who follows up at 9 a.m. the next day to make sure the drying equipment is still running. If he says a tech will be there between 1 and 3, plan your day around it.
One Standard, Every Job
Every technician on this page works the same way, and it’s not complicated. We call it The Kingswell Way, and if you’ve ever been through a water or mold claim where nobody seemed to know what was happening, the contrast matters more than any brochure could explain. It means the price is in writing before work begins, and that number doesn’t change at the door. It means we show up in the window we gave you, in a Dryden uniform, not some unmarked van that pulls up when it pulls up. It means the job site is left cleaner than we found it, because we’re working in your house, not a warehouse. And it means a written 365-Day Done Right Promise on every repair: if the work we did fails within a year, we come back and make it right at zero cost to you. Every one of these team members has put their name under that promise, and they’d tell you the same thing Carl Brandt tells every Miami homeowner: say the price before the work, show up when you said you would, and come back if it fails. That’s the whole standard.
